About Susan

Botanist at heart,
teacher by calling.

Susan has been crafting lifelike crepe paper flowers for over a decade, falling in love with the way Italian crepe paper can be coaxed into petals that look fresh-picked. What started as a personal obsession became a calling when friends kept asking to learn.

Now she travels the North Bay — from community centers in Napa to art studios in Mill Valley — bringing her kits, her handouts, and her love of the craft to students of all levels. No experience required. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to get a little glue on your fingers.

Students love it

"I've never made anything with my hands that I actually wanted to display. My tulip is sitting on my kitchen table and I'm honestly a little obsessed with it."

— Meredith, Napa

"Susan has a gift for making you feel like you already know what you're doing. By the end of class I had a peony I was genuinely proud of."

— Diane, Sonoma

"Took the Wild Botanicals class as a birthday gift to myself. Best decision. The handout alone was worth it — I've made three more flowers at home since."

— Lena, Mill Valley
